The premiere of the digitally remastered drama Pieces of Love by Ivan Cherkelov is slated for 1 October at 7:00 pm. The picture was made in 1988 and is emblematic of a whole generation. In 2017, its b & w negative was scanned in Germany to be then digitised and restored involving colour correction and creating a DCP. It is the first Bulgarian film restored using this method. The initiative was occasioned by the 60th anniversaries of Rali Ralchev and Ivan Cherkelov. The digitally restored movie was selected in the Archival Treasures and Curiosities section of Lumière Festival 2017, Lyon to be held in October.
